  1. Shift to hybrid working style:

This year has definitely made C-suite think all over again, do we have employees work in the office, work remotely or just in hybrid. The decision is clearly which is workable based on factors: industry specific, cost of office space, flexibility, company policies, external factors, technology adaption, resource availability and so on.

  • Redesigning the workplace:

We shouldn’t forget most employees worked in hybrid mode or remote in 2020, 2021 and even 2022 so HR had to reinvent what an office space should look like. Is your workplace attracting talent to come work out of their offices. Workplace of the future definitely required a face lift.

  • Focus on employee well being

Past 2 years have really made us examine our effort to maintain our health, an employee is looking for an employer who encourages employee well-being. Many HR conducted yoga, dance, mental wellness awareness sessions, in-house counsellors.

Creating social platforms for interaction and moving from an office based/ paper-based process to a digital process is clearing taking center stage for HR and other professionals.

  • Diversity, Inclusion, Belonginess

DI is not a new concept but is gaining acceptability and awareness. C-suite is aware of the benefits of having a diverse workforce and today have taken it as the priority. Focus of recruiting a diverse set of individuals, customizing company policies, training and development.

  • Attraction of key talent

Attracting the right talent and retaining talent is a challenge and HR professionals are finding ways to create a pipeline of talent, attracting the best talent and retaining the talent.

  • New age skills required

Skills required today are different and employees need to continuously update their knowledge. HR professionals create training workshops, external training programs, on-the-job training opportunities depending on the requirements.

Creating an employee experience, remember your employee is your brand ambassador- a person who promotes your company, engages other colleagues which help in engagement with customers and increases the productivity levels.
